The seniors of Hirvihaara Golf came to Virvik with a team of 10 to compete for our challenge trophy. If every other player is left out of the Virvik team so that the basic teams would be the same size, Virvik's winning figures are 325 / 295.
Annual meeting and Christmas party dinner 07.12.2024
Yesterday, 7.12, the association's annual meeting and Christmas party dinner were held in fine surroundings at Cafe Gabriole. At the event Oliver Lindell was awarded the challenge trophy as Virvik member of the year, and among the juniors Albin Gustafson and Alexandra Pietiläinen received scholarships for their fine success. In Oliver's honour a new challenge trophy for the junior of the year will also be introduced next season. Oliver himself is deciding the criteria by which the award bearing his name will be granted each year from now on.Otherwise it was noted that the 2024 season had been a very successful one and that the number of rounds had increased. With support from the Ministry of Education and Culture, more families and young people were guided to a first contact with the sport. There were also more people who had completed the green card course than in previous seasons. This is a good place to continue from into the 2025 season!Good luck also to @oliverlindellgolf who already continued today towards South Africa and the next competition.#virvikonkaikille
